The footsteps where getting closer and closer.  “This is no good.” Elled thought. “If they catch us before we make it to the line, we’re screwed.” He and his companion, Marana, where running, and being chased after by a giant beast. A Bea’ar is what they called it. A bear like animal, but a lot bigger, more ferocious and twice as deadly.

Faster and faster it was gaining on them, Elled quickly dropped one of his scrolls and summoned a wall of sand to somewhat slow down the beast, but it did no good, it smashed right through. He turned to Marana, the poor child was running her small feet off. “You and your good idea’s.” he smiled.

Marana laughed. And just as the beast was able to reach them, a giant cage locked him in. “Got it!’ Elled shouted. “That was close.” the little girl added.  Elled nodded. “Let’s do this Marana. Do you remember the ritual?”

The cage, a Maqia powered cage slowly started to shrink, until it completely wrapped up the beast, as it lost his balance, it fell on the ground with quite a roar. In the back birds flee at the sound of danger. Below the Bea’ar rests a scroll, one of Elled’s scrolls. The sign reads “capture”.

Marana starts drawing in the sand, making a circle and around the circles she writes different signs. In a ancient language. Then another circle to complete it all. Then she touched the the biggest sign in the middle and as she did the entire marking lit up. “You sure?” Elled asked. But she was silent. That was good.
The wind started to raise and the trees begin to shake. The beast starts to move, shaking, growling, even more ferocious then before. It sounded as it would be in terrible danged. Around it a small glow started to become visible. Slowly it became brighter and brighter, until it looked like it was carring the beast.

Marana’s eyes where the same bright yellow color as the Bea’ar’s coating. And as she stood up, the beast moved along. Then she raised her hands and started to murmur words. The more she said, the angrier the beast became. Faster and louder the beast started to growl. Even Elled got a little bit scared. Someone was not happy.

But the little girl wasn’t frightened, she knows what she is doing. She raises her hands up in the air and then smashed the beast down to the ground. Elled’s capturing spell broke and the beast thought it was free, when it tried to move. All Marana said was. “No.” and into an abrubt halt the beast came.

“Will you join me?” Marana spoke. The bea’ar looked confused. And again it tried to move. “I told you not to move.” the girl spoke. Again the beast couldn’t move a muscle. Her eyes still burning with the yellow energy. The beast growled, then stopped to move. Marana repeated her question. “Will you join me?”
